Kerala Forest Research Institute Recruitment 2019 - Walk in Interview For Project Fellow and Project Assistant 

A walk-in interview to fill the post of  Project Fellow & Project Assistant   to join a time-bound research programme on "Study on the impact of invasive plant species on ecology of GEF - Munnar landscape project area. " will be held, 1.Project  KFRI  /  RP 760/2018 at 10.00 am onward on 07th January 2019 and  2.Project  KFRI/  RP 762/2018  at 10.00 am onward on 10th January 2019, at KFRI . Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to attend the interview. Please bring testimonials in original.

1.Project  KFRI  /  RP 760/2018  :  Studies  on pattern of usage of usage of pesticides and their impact on the ecosystem of plantations and adjacent areas in the GEF – Munnar landscape project area

Essential qualification
 
1.Project Fellow -1  :   First class M.Sc. in Chemistry/Environmental Science
   Desirable  :  Experience in handling analytical  Instruments like GC,GC-MS and HPLC

2.Project Fellow -1  : First class M.Sc. in Soil Science/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Environmental Science
   Desirable  :  Experience in conducting soil and water quality analysis

3.Project Fellow 1  :  First class M.Sc. in Zoology /Wild life Biology
    Desirable  :  Experience in Field Survey of reptiles and amphibians
Fellowship  :  Rs. 22,000/- per month

Age Limit :  As on 01.01.2018, 36 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.

• Essential qualification: First class M.Sc. in Botany 
• Desirable:  
• Research experience in field of forestry/invasion biology          
• Experience in extensive field work in forest areas 

• Duration:    4th December 2018 - 3rd  December 2019 
• Fellowship: Rs. 22,000/- per month
  

Project Fellow -1 

• Essential qualification: First class M.Sc. in Zoology 
• Desirable    :
• Research experience in field of forestry/invasion biology 
• Experience in extensive field work in forest areas 

• Duration  : 4th December 2018 - 3rd  December 2019 
• Fellowship:  Rs. 22,000/- per month

Project Assistant-1

• Essential qualification: First class B.sc. in Botany /Zoology 
• Desirable    :  Experience in extensive field work in forest areas 
• Duration  :  4 December 2018- 03December 2019 
• Fellowship:    Rs. 19,000/- per month
