About Sophisticated Test and Instrumentation Centre (STIC)
The Sophisticated Test and Instrumentation Centre (STIC) was started in 1995 as a joint venture of the Government of Kerala and the Cochin University of Science and Technology in the Cochin University Campus. The STIC is making an earnest effort to minimize duplication and multiplication of costly and sophisticated instruments and equipment basis and their capabilities are being carried out, and it is proposed to publish periodically a directory of such equipment and instruments. Thus STIC will act as a nodal centre for utilization of highly sophisticated equipment and instruments in Kerala, The main objectives of this fully autonomous body which is registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act of Kerala State, are listed below:
